Gene takes the time to listen and understand his clients' issues, address problems squarely, and then work with clients to move toward resolution. Gene draws upon his almost twenty years of experience in a broad range of administrative law and civil litigation to generate innovative ideas to solve problems for clients. Gene helps clients who are encountering difficulties in the areas of professional licensing, family law, and other matters that effect individuals and businesses. Professional Licensing

Gene represents professionals who are having difficulties with the State Bar, licensing boards, and other investigating agencies. He works with each client to face the problems squarely to achieve the best outcome. Gene's experience counts when he helps his clients in Bar matters, board hearings, hospital peer reviews, and other investigations. He is sensitive to the fact that an investigation and formal proceedings can have a dramatic impact on the day-to-day outlook of a professional and on the long-term consequences of a career. Gene works diligently in representing attorneys, physicians, psychiatrists, professional counselors, social workers, accountants, engineers, real estate brokers and sales representatives, appraisers, teachers, dentists, chiropractors, and businesses that must obtain or maintain a license to operate.

Family Law

Gene brings his unique approach to helping individuals who are seeking help in the area of family law. Gene is certified to practice family collaborative law and offers his clients the opportunity to consider this option to avoid the lengthy, expensive, and sometimes bitter process of litigation. The collaborative approach involves other professionals to help spouses divorce and at the same time foster respect for each other, give support for their children, and reach solutions to financial issues that must be resolved in a divorce action. If an individual elects to pursue litigation, Gene provides professional counsel and guidance while representing his clients in divorce actions, custody matters, and child support matters. Gene also represents individuals in preparing prenuptial agreements and post-nuptial agreements.
